Day 1 – Arrive Auckland
Your holiday begins as you board your Malaysian Airlines flight to Auckland. On arrival at Auckland - the City of Sails, you are met and transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle. The rest of the day is free for you at leisure. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 2 – Auckland/Bay of Islands
In case you are on a self drive vacation, your chosen rental car will be delivered to you at your hotel this morning. In case you are travelling on a seat in coach basis you will be transferred by coach. You will travel north, for around 4 hours, over Auckland's Harbour Bridge, along the Hibiscus Coast. View the scenic beauty and the mighty Kauri trees enroute. Proceed through Whangarei - Northland's only major city and port, to reach the fabulous Bay of Islands. Upon arrival, check in and relax. We recommend you drive down to the historic Treaty Grounds where the Waitangi Treaty was signed, giving birth to the country of New Zealand. Overnight in Bay of Islands..

Day 3 – Bay of Islands
The Kings Coach Company will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a full day trip to Cape Reinga and the 90 Mile Beach. This tour is on a seat in coach basis as no rental cars are allowed on the 90 Mile Beach. Learn about the Bay and the history of the Maoris. Return to the hotel later this evening. Overnight in Bay of Islands.

Day 4 - Hokianga
This morning you proceed to Hokianga with its unspoilt beauty, comprising of the giant sand dunes at the entrance of the harbour on the northern side, and the ancient Waipoua forest in the south. This place has well maintained tracks that gives access to the well known forest giants like 1400 year old Tane Mahuta and 2000 year Te Matua Ngahere. Other forest walks including Yakas Track, Lookout Walk and the Waiotemarama kauri and waterfall walks. Discover several fabulous coastal walks including the Signal Station walk, with awesome sand dune views. Overnight at Hokianga.

Day 5 - Hokianga/Auckland
This morning you travel for about 3 hours to reach Auckland. Check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city. Overnight at Auckland.

Day 6 – Auckland/Waitomo/Rotorua
This morning you travel south to arrive at Waitomo for a guided tour of the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves, including an underground boat ride to view millions of glowworms on the cavern roof. Continue over the Mamaku Ranges to reach the 'Thermal City' of Rotorua. Overnight at Rotorua.

Day 7 – Rotorua
Spend a full day being spellbound by the power of the earth, the tranquility of nature and the warmth of the Maori Culture and the early European ways. Start your day with a drive to the Agrodome for an entertaining show on sheep farming. Follow this up with a visit to Rainbow Springs Nature Park to see the local flora and the breeding of kiwis. Then head off to the thermal geysers and mudpools at Wai-O-Tapu to soak in the world famous Champagne pool, coloured springs, bubbling mud, steaming ground, expansive vistas, huge volcanic craters and sinter terrace formations. Visit the village of Mitai for an authentic introduction to Maori culture - their homes, cuisine, attire, crafts and arts like the poi dance and spine tingling haka finale. Overnight in Rotorua.

Day 8 – Rotorua
Explore this beautiful region on your own. You could head off to the White Island which is the country's only active marine volcano or take in some River Rafting. Overnight at Rotorua.

Day 9 – Auckland
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and travel about 235 kms north to Auckland. The day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 10 – Auckland
You could proceed on a full day tour to Waiheke Island which includes Waiheke Island Return Ferry. The package does not include taking your car to Waiheke Island. Once there you can rent a car cheaply on the island or buy a bus pass to tour the island. The cost of renting the car on the island or buying a bus pass is not included in the package. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 11 – Depart Auckland
Your fabulous holiday comes to an end today. You would be transferred to the airport. In case of a self drive holiday, do drop off the rental car at the airport before you board your flight back home.
