Welcome to Italy this morning. Your holiday commences in Milan, located in the plains of Lombardy. Upon arrival into Milan we recommend you take the train to Como. This is the lake area of Italy. You could also opt for a taxi transfer to Como. Once in Como, check into your hotel and relax. The ambience is great and serene. Overnight in Como.
Wake up to a lazy breakfast. The day is free for you to spend at leisure. Lake Como is Italy's most popular lake and has been a popular destination since Roman times. It lies between Milan and the border of Switzerland and is surrounded by mountains and hills.

Following breakfast this morning, it is time to transfer to the train station and board your train to Florence. Upon arrival, please make your way to the hotel and check in. Florence is a lovely city located in the famous wine growing Tuscany region and is great for shopping. Later in the evening, we recommend you walk around and absorb the Tuscan countryside or spend time at the bridge which houses the longest sheltered shopping promenade where you can find hawkers and small shops selling the most unique of jewellery and other knick knacks. Wake up to a lazy breakfast and the rest of the morning is free at leisure. Your tour to Pisa gives you an opportunity to take in some wonderful scenery en-route to the historic University town, most famous for its amazing Leaning Tower. You will then walk to Piazza dei Cavalieri, which houses the Scuola Normale, one of the most famous universities in the world. Your tour returns to Florence later in the evening. Relax and spend a nice quiet evening here. Overnight in Florence.
Following breakfast this morning its time to make your way to the train station and board the train taking you to Rome. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival please make your way to your hotel. Check in and relax.
Rome is truly breathtaking - the opulence of the Vatican, the mammoth resonance of the Colosseum, the timelessness of the Forum and other architectural marvels. In the afternoon we recommend you walk around the place to the famous monuments and absorb the architecture and the culture that is so rich here. Rome also has some great places to shop. Rome comes alive at night and you should not miss the opportunity to see its most beautiful monuments illuminated. Your panoramic Rome Illuminations tour starts at around 1900 hours. You will see a side of Rome that is magical as all the monuments that you would have chanced upon in the day come alive and look completely transformed! Overnight in Rome.
Wake up to an early breakfast this morning as its time for your tour to the richest country in the
world – the Vatican. Enjoy this morning tour of the treasures of the Vatican, including the Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museum where you'll be shown a fine collection of antiquities including the fascinating Tapestry Gallery. Following the tour the rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the city further. Overnight in Rome.
